Summer Transfer Window 2024
Ahead of the 2024/25 season, a busy transfer window awaits with many players linked with an exit from their current clubs. With prices increasing more than ever before, records await to be broken and Kylian Mbappe could be responsible for this following his much anticipated, long awaited move to Spanish giants Real Madrid after spending 7 years at the top of Ligue Un with Paris Saint-Germain. The Frenchman's contract expired at the start of June, which gave Florentino Perez's Madrid the chance to snatch him on a free transfer- saving them hundreds of millions of euros. Mbappe will not earn less at Madrid than he did at PSG, despite reports saying that he was going to take a pay cut. Sources close to Real Madrid suggest that he will be paid a €125m sign-on bonus
Waldemar Anton joins Borussia Dortmund to replace Mats Hummels on a deal until June 2028. He leaves VfB Stuttgart after BVB trigger his €22million release clause. Dortmund have also triggered Serhou Guirassy's €17.5million release clause, and he will also be leaving Stuttgart.
Chelsea have signed 2007 born William Estevao from Palmeiras. The Brazilian wonderkid will make his move in summer 2025 with the contract valid until June 2033. The deal is worth €34million with €27million in add ons. The Blues have also signed 2005 born Omari Kellyman from Aston Villa in a deal worth £19million. His contract is valid until June 2030 with an option to extend for one year. 2006 born Marc Guiu also signs for Chelsea after leaving Barcelona for €6million. Kiernan Drewsbury-Hall joins the list of players to join Chelsea, this time from Leicester; in a deal worth £30million. He has signed a contract on a deal valid until June 2030.
Ipswich Town agree a record deal to sign Omari Hutchinson on a permanent deal from Chelsea. The deal will be worth £22million total.
Wolves have signed Jorgen Strand Larsen from Celta Vigo in a package worth €30million, including a loan with obligation to buy.
Max Kilman leaves Wolves to sign for West Ham on a long term deal worth £40million.
Brighton have signed Gambian international and winger Yankuba Minteh from Newcastle in a deal worth £33million.
Nottingham Forest also buy from Newcastle, as they sign Elliot Andersen for £35million.
Tottenham have signed 2006 born Archie Gray from Leeds in a deal worth £40million. Joe Rondon Signs for Leeds from Tottenham in a separate transaction, this time for £10million.
Manchester United sign Joshua Zirkzee for an undisclosed fee slightly above €40million. The contract is valid until 2029 with an option to extend until 2030. Leny Yoro also signs for the Red Devils on a contract until 2029 with the option to extend to 2030. The deal is worth €50million with €12million in add ons.
Manchester City sign Sávio from Troyes on a contract valid until 2029 in a deal worth £21million plus £33.6million potential add ons.
Bayern Munich have triggered the release Clause for Michael Olise worth £45million, with £5million in add ons. He signs a 5 year contract after rejecting interest from Chelsea and Newcastle. They have also signed Joao Palhinha from Fulham on a 4 year deal worth €55m total.
Aston Villa sign Ian Maatsen on a £37.5million deal valid until 2030. They have also signed Samuel Iling Jr and Enzo Barrenechea in a swap deal with Juventus including a €28 million fee, in exchange for Douglas Luiz. All three players in the deal sign a contract keeping them at their respective clubs until June 2029. Villa have also signed Amadou Onana from Everton on a deal worth £50million. Moussa Diaby leaves the club to join Al Ittihad for €60million on a 5 year contract.
Fiorentina agree on a long term deal to sign Moise Kean from Juventus, in a deal worth €13million in a fixed fee plus €2million in add ons.
Real Madrid legend Nacho leaves the club after 23 years and joins Al Qadsiah on a two year deal valid until June 2026. Joselu also leaves Real Madrid anf signs for Qatari side Al Gharafa. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang joins Nacho at Al Qadsiah from Marseille until June 2026.
Athletico Madrid sign high-in-demand Robin Le Normand from Real Sociedad in a deal worth €30million.
Euro 2024 winner Alvaro Morata leaves Athletico Madrid to join AC Milan in a deal worth €13million.
Everton sign Iliman Ndiaye from Olympique Marseille. The contract is valid until June 2029, in a deal worth €18.5million plus €1.5m in add ons.
Marseille have signed Ismael Kone from Watford, who will receive €12.5million for this deal plus add ons. The French giants have also signed Lilian Brassier from Brest. The centre back will sign a 5 year contract in a deal worth €11million. Mason Greenwood also signs for Marseille. Manchester United will receive a €26million fixed fee, plus €5million in add ons and a 50% sell on clause is included in Greenwood's contract.
Inter Milan have signed Spanish goalkeeper Josep Martínez from Genoa. He will sign a long term contract in a deal worth €15million.
